After all the rain we have had, it was a pleasure to enjoy a dry day! Our thanks to Mr and Mrs J Milligan-Manby for allowing us to return to this fabulous ground. We also thank Skinners for sponsoring both events and Sue Hales-Lowe, our Chief Steward.
We also thank our Judges for the Novice Tests, Andy Slingsby, Casper Jonsen, Charlie Albone and Tom Unwin and, of course our helpers.
There were three tests in the morning.
After lunch, the judges cut to thirteen dogs for two more tests.
Test 4 was a four dog walk up with each dog retrieving a forward mark (with shot) and a blind behind.
Test 5 There were five dummies out in the wood fifty yards up the hill. After five shots, the dogs had to cross a fast flowing stream and run over rough grass to the hill twice to collect a blind.
