It was incredibly hot and the earlier rain had encouraged the sugar beet to grow to record height, but our 21 handlers and their dogs enjoyed the day, greatly benefitting from the good supply of pigeons and other game.
Julie Campbell trained the novice 1 dogs and Sue Lowe novice 2 and open. The afternoon tests were all in the sugar beet and were judged by Julie, Sue and Charlie Albone.
