OPEN AND NOVICE TESTS SATURDAY 26 TH MARCH
We held our first working tests of the season on a bright sunny day at Marston Lodge, Marston
Trussell by kind permission of Patrick and Charlotte Clackson and their Manager Chris Thresh. Our
judges for the day were Phil Bruton, Lisa Harris, Sharon Kitson and Andy Slingsby. The ground was
a mixture of grassland and woods, providing a good variation for the competitors. Steve Newitt
set four challenging tests making best use of the ground. We had a tremendous entry and had to
have a draw, which allowed 30 dogs to compete in each of the tests. We would like to thank all
who made the day possible from the generous landowner, the judges, our stewards, dummy
throwers and our committee. Competitors were very generous with raffle prizes too, resulting in a pot
of £195! The results were as follows:

The award for the highest placed Intermediate dog went to Dann Higgs with Reedmoors Ares of
Higgscroft.
Godfrey and Jayne's awards resulted in them being invited to the selection day for the England team, congratulations.
