URC Midland Area would like to thank Patrick and Charlotte Clackson and Chris Thresh for their kind invitation and assistance on our return to hold our working tests on this wonderful ground.
Thanks also to our supporters Skinners with their Field and Trial Working Dog food.
Mr Keith Bedford and Mr Phil Parkins were our judges; many thanks to them and also to the small team of helpers who worked so hard leading up to the event and on test day too.
We are delighted that the day was such a success, and enjoyed watching some excellent work in challenging tests set in beautiful woodland. Although the weather was a bit chilly and we endured a few sharp showers, as our Open Test winner Christopher Pilkington said, " It's been great to get back out again!"

Our tests were held at The Cottesbrooke Estate by kind permission of Alastair Macdonald-Buchanan. Judges for the day were Laura Marsh, Guy Radford and Lesley Cooper Shaw.
Thank you to our kind host and staff for their warm welcome and assistance in organising our day on this beautiful ground at unusually short notice. The weather was incredibly hot, so a huge thank you and well done to the judges and fantastic team of URC Midland helpers who gave up their day (and time in the days and weeks leading up to the event) to make it all possible. Well done to all for staying safe and comfortable by shade and water; despite the uncomfortable weather, competitors and support team all enjoyed a wonderful day of competition!
