Puppy, NDNH & Veteran Tests 14th July 2024 @ Bullock Down
The United Retriever Club’s Southern Area, today on 14th July 2024, held a Puppy Test, a Novice Dog/Novice Handler Test and a Veteran Working Test at Bullock Down Farm, Eastbourne, by kind permission of David & Jane Fenner. A stunning venue with views across the South Downs to Eastbourne and the sea.
The judges were Chris Marshall, Jane Carnaghan and Chris Gore who made awards as follows:
There were 14 competitors in the Puppy Test

Veteran Test:
1st Mell Brooks’s Lab (B) FTCh Maddi May of Anningtonbay
2nd Marianne Copp’s Lab (D) Pointhill Peregrine
3rd Ian Hamilton’s Lab (D) Wiillowyck Brigadier of Longcopse
Of the 13 ND/NH entries, the judges made awards as follows:

Then 2 CoM’s to Sas Drury’s Lab (D) Josander Rocket Man

A lovely day with weather just right for the dogs – a bit sunny, a bit cloudy and a coastal breeze - and I had to laugh at Ian Hamilton staggering home with awards in two of these tests and an armful of very generous raffle prizes too! Thank you everyone for your generosity and of course to the helpers, both old and new who came today, you are all very much appreciated
