Our final test of the year was the Novice Walked Up Test on Field Trial Lines, held on the Avon Tyrell Estate by kind permission of the Lord and Lady Manners on Sunday 21st August. Our judges were Ms Judith Evans (B2898), Mr Ken Green (B3366), Mrs Felicity Green and Mrs Nikki Urquhart and the Steward of the Beat was Mr Robert Atkinson (A5).
We were lucky with the weather as temperatures were very comfortable for handlers and dogs and the beautiful water meadows provided challenging cover for the test, finishing with a drive over the river.
