Our last working test of the year was the Open Walk Up on Field Trial Lines, which was held at Hawkers Hill Farm, Shaftesbury, on Sunday 25th August by kind permission of Phil Lever and Chris and Clem Martin.
Our Judges were Judy Rainey, David Stephens, Matt Gould and Charlotte Wilkinson, and the Steward of the Beat was Ken Green.
The ground was challenging and the temperature high but there was shade for the gallery for most of the day and a Drive over water at the end to cool the dogs off although more than one competitor and helper were looking longingly at the green water!
The event was judged on Field Trial Lines and the results were as following;
