We held our Novice Working Test on Saturday 27th April at Inpark Farm, Holway by kind permission of Mr Robert Atkinson. This fabulous ground offered challenging terrain and water to provide some very good tests. We were pleased with the entry, which included 2 Flatcoats and 6 Goldens and it was lovely to see a good mix of Retrievers out together.
Although the wind was strong, the rain held off and the bluebells were glorious in the sunshine, adding to what proved to be a successful day.
Our thanks go to the Judges, who were Robert Atkinson, Ken Green and Jane Mann and to the happy band of helpers without whom we couldn’t run the day and last but not least, Elsie, who makes a great cup of tea!
