Our Intermediate and Veteran working test took place this Saturday 29th June by kind permission of The Honourable and Mrs Timothy Palmer at West Woodyates Manor near Sixpenny Handley.
It was a very warm day but there was plenty of shade for dogs and handlers in between tests and barrels of water were placed around the course to help keep the dogs cool.
Despite struggling for helpers we put on 4 tests and a Walk Up and I would like to express my thanks to those who came and who remained cheerful in spite of the conditions. In particular I would like to mention Lavinia Lindley, a lady with working Cockers, who generously gave up her day in our hour of need to assist on a Labrador event. Huge thanks also to Nikki Urquhart, who stepped into Elsie’s big shoes to cater for the test!
