REPORT OF THE URC INTER-AREA FINALS 2022
Hosted by the Northern area the Inter-Area Working Test Finals was held on 26 June 2022 at Winster near Bowness in Windermere. The Judges were Wayne Mitchell A panel, Kieth Barnes A panel, Kevin Butler and Stuart Dunn NP. The nine URC areas each sent a team of three dogs, which ran in each of the tests. The dogs completed 8 tests four in the morning and four in the afternoon.
It was light rain in the morning but heavier after lunch but this didn’t dampen anybody’s spirits and the dogs didn’t seem to mind at all. Finishing off, trophies were presented and a large array of raffle prizes were drawn then a fabulous buffet was served all at the Brown Horse Inn only a short drive from the venue.
