15th September 2019 at Manor Farm, Carburton, Notts
The Training Class Test brought the season of training to a close on a pleasant September day. Our host Mr Robert Bower at Manor Farm, Carburton, Notts made us very welcome and watched most of the proceedings. The judges were Mandy Minshall and Harvey Richardson. Five breeds took part, comprising one Puppy, and 12 in the Novice section. The morning tests involved a mixture of marks and blinds in grassy pasture bordered by a hedge, and also in adjacent oak woodland. In the afternoon one test was sited in rough grass alongside a hedge, whilst a walk-up took place in a field of fodder beet. At tea time the raffle was drawn and the awards and prizes of Alpha dog food were presented by our host Robert Bower.
