at Manor Farm, Carburton on 15th September 2019
The Training Class Test brought the season of training to a close on a pleasant September day. Our host Mr Robert Bower at Manor Farm, Carburton, Notts made us very welcome and watched most of the proceedings. The judges were Mandy Minshall and Harvey Richardson. Five breeds took part, with 8 competitors in the Open section. Mndy judged a ark and a blind in woodland. Harvey judged a double consisting of a blind over a jiump across a fence, with a memory mark in the rough border to he fence. Harvey next saw the Open dogs pick a blind in the wood. ASfter lunch Mandy judge the dogs in a strip of rough cover alongside a hedge. During a walk-up in fodder beet Harvey tested the Open dogs with two further retrieves. At tea time the raffle was drawn and the awards and prizes of Alpha dog food were presented by our host Robert Bower.
