Held at Cubley Shoot, Derbyshire 3rd June 2018
The North Midland Area held Retriever Working Tests Tests on 3rd June 2018 at Cubley shoot, Derbyshire by kind permission of The Hon. David Legh. Richard, one of the keepers, had mown parts of the ground which included grassy meadows, woodland, a young plantation and a pond. The judges were Ged Leeson, Carol Probert and Anna Wagland. This year there was only a small entry of puppies and of Novice Handlers. The tests included an obedience exercise with a stile, marked retrieves from cover and in a wood, a water retrieve and a simple blind or send back. The prizes were sponsored by Alpha The Food of Champions.
