So the new sylph-like Hilly has graduated from last year's 2nd to this year's 1st and on her birthday too. What a present! I hope she gets money for her birthday to pay for the engraving on The Area Cup for the winner, The Onslowvale Cup for the highest placed labrador and the Lydia Memorial Trophy for the highest placed bitch. What an armful. Congratulations Hilly and the other placed dogs of course too.
A scorcher of a day made scenting conditions hard for the dogs and they all did really well under trying conditions. Thank goodness for some super lakes in which the dogs could cool off. I would have like to have joined them.
