After the success of last year's event, we held another training morning in sugar beet at Garnons Farm, Wormingford and as always were made very welcome by the lovely host Tom & Antonia Dobell.
With 22 trainees we split into four groups for a few hours of training in the beet. Our trainers were Roy and Mike from the committee with two guest trainers Kelvin Smith and Mick Elsey. As always some lovely helpers came tothrow dummies, so a big thak you to Frank and Richard both nont on committee as well as Frwederick David, Mari and Cath from the committee.
The weather was kind to us, and was in fact perfect for training with no bright sun and a comfortable temperature for dogs and humans! We had a light shower but it did not last.
A good start to the morning was cuppa and pastries & donuts followed by a good morning's training session in nice size groups of 5 or 6. We received some nice feedback and compliments so hopefully everyone enjoyed the event.
